KidsTime Staff and Volunteers
Not only is KidsTime dedicated to caring for its children, KidsTime cares about its volunteers. We desire to provide an environment for our volunteers that allows them to build relationships with others and to grow in their own Christian walk as they serve God through serving kids. We hope, too, to be able to minister to our volunteers and to provide an opportunity for friendship between our volunteers and Children’s Ministry staff members.
BASIC GUIDELINES for Volunteers
All volunteers are required to complete a ministry interest form and a background check consent form. All volunteers are asked to wear a staff ID tag.
We are currently working on developing a DVD training video to provide to our new volunteers as they learn about and/or join the KidsTime team.

CARES MINISTRY
The CARES ministry is a new area of Children’s Ministry. It is comprised of our KidsTime Welcome Center attendants who check-in our visitors and provide basic information for our visitors, our greeters who welcome and direct visitors to classrooms, and our security monitors who patrol our children’s area for safety. CARES is also made up of the CRUMBS team, a behind-the-scene group of volunteers who assist with general needs of the ministry—cutting paper, making gifts, knitting baby blankets, etc. CARES also leads our Sunday Specials. Beginning in December 2007, the Sunday Specials team will deliver treats on random occasions to our children in order to remind them, “HEY, KidsTime kids! You are loved! And, You are SPECIAL to us!”
