Some believe taking communion every week makes the Lord’s Supper common. That is the reason many denominations take communion once a month or year. We believe the problem of abusing the Lord’s Supper is with the partaker and not the practice. Taking the Lord’s Supper weekly was done in the New Testament Church (Acts 20:7). The solution is for each believer to renew his/her mind and keep the purpose of communion fresh, weekly. Blessings from God will come from regularly meeting around the Lord’s table.
