First Christian Church exists for the purpose of giving glory to God, our Maker, and His only Son, Jesus Christ.  First Christian has the belief that we are to take to heart the Great Commission in Matt. 28 where Jesus says to "go and make disciples."

The way we phrase this in our culture today is that we are to "connect people to God and grow together to full devotion in Him."

Our strategy is simply to be a church that encourages...

• Faith: by offering our worship and our wealth to God.
• Hope: as we renew our mind and relate to one another.
• Love: as we serve with our gifts and share His message.

Anyone attending is welcome and encouraged to participate in the community activities of the church, including trips, recreation leagues, and classes.  Anyone wanting to make a commitment to the fellowship at First Christian must surrender his/her life to Christ as Lord and Savior.
