At FCC, we firmly believe that being connected with a group of people who know you personally and will encourage you in your Christian walk is critical to maturing in Christ. Without a community of people, it is difficult to be equipped to do every good work that God has ordained for you to do. Also, studying Scripture among a small group or class encourages personal study times and helps to develop better study techniques. Finally, when we are feeling weak in faith or are navigating through a difficult time in life, it can seem lonely and unbearable. Being connected in a small group, Bible study, Care group, or Sunday school class can provide a network of support and prayer that the Lord will use to minister to you during times like these. Therefore, First Christian Church encourages every member and regular attender to be connected in Community Life.
If you are new and are not sure what group that best fits you, please feel free to browse the Spring 2011 Guide, which provides information on every Community Life opportunity that we offer. You may download a PDF version of the Guide below, or you may pick-up a physical copy in the Atrium at any time.
