The Missions Ministry of First Christian Church of Johnson City, Tennessee, mission is to:

• To promote evangelism and the message of God's saving grace throughout the world.
• To win souls to Jesus Christ through evangelism, Christian education and prayer.
• To aid our existing mission efforts, establish new works, and support those who do the work of our Lord.

The authority for these endeavors is the Bible, specifically referring to Matthew 25:31-46, 28:19-20 and Abraham's promise in Genesis 12:2-3.
