Parking Ministry

The parking ministry helps with parking cars during the Sunday morning worship services. This ministry is mainly staffed by Deacons, but is open to anyone that has a desire to help in this area.

Instructions:

Meet in the church atrium at the closet across from the library to pick up your orange vest, walkie-talkie, and baton. You should say a prayer for the ministry you are about to perform and that you will make a difference in someone's life today. Your job is to direct cars to empty parking places and greet people as they are walking to the church. Direct or personally lead new visitors to the church entrance and to look for a greeter once they get inside. Use the walkie-talkies to communicate with other parking attendents to let them know where there are open parking spaces, alert vehicles being directed your way, (here come a green SUV your way...); communicate; communicate.

Between 1st and 2nd service	9:20-9:50am	Traffic gets heaviest closer to start of 9:45 service and folks arriving late have the hardest time finding parking.
Between 2nd and 3rd service	10:40-11:15am	Traffic gets heaviest closer to start of 11am service and folks arriving late have the hardest time finding parking.

Schedule:

Mickey Keplinger and Danny VanDyke have volunteered to work each week if needed, so there should be a total of six attendents each week.
