In a world that looks out for self, Father, fill us with Your love. In a world of negativity and anger, Jesus, bring us joy. In a world of anxiety and despair, Spirit, fill us with peace. In a world of instant demands and intolerance, Father, grant us patience. In a world of hostility, Jesus, fill us with kindness. In a world of mean-spirited attacks, Spirit, fill us with goodness. In a world of shallow short-term commitments, Jesus, mark us with faithfulness. In a world of impulsive self-centeredness, Spirit, lead us into self-control. Root us in the soil of your spirit God so that we might receive the fruit. In Jesus Name we ask these things, Amen.
